Vivaan's Nani had read somewhere that some small town in US has been experimenting with different ways of filtering dirty water. One of the experiments consisted of filtering and cleaning sewage and turning it into potable water.
Vivaan heard it mentioned during a conversation between Nani and Geeta Nani who was incidentally visiting from Atlanta US and got completely grossed out:
"I was in America for one month last year! that means I drank that dirty potty water everyday for a month! I will never go back there ever!"
